📼 BACKROOMS is a found-footage horror escape game where every run becomes a tape.

You wake up inside endless yellow rooms, dead fluorescent light, thick fog, and corridors that should not exist. Your only goal is simple:

Find the exit. Keep moving. Do not let the tape end badly.

🚪 Objective Explore procedurally generated Backrooms layouts, survive the thing hunting through the walls, and find the way out. Every run creates a new maze, and every exit is not what it seems.

🎧 Headphones strongly recommended The sound matters. Footsteps, distant bangs, breathing, music, and ambient noise are mixed to pull you deeper into the maze. Play with headphones, lights off, and volume up.

📹 Found-footage tape system Your entire run is recorded like a corrupted camcorder tape. When the run ends, you can watch it back and save the footage as your own Backrooms tape.
